Egypt attracts visitors with its pyramids, the Nile, the Red Sea, and vibrant markets. Before your trip, it's important to review your vaccination protection. Recommended vaccines include hepatitis A, tetanus, and diphtheria. For longer stays or if traveling under less hygienic conditions, vaccines against hepatitis B, typhoid, and cholera may also be relevant. At VaccinDirekt, we specialize in travel vaccines and personalized advice. We always assess your travel plans, previous vaccinations, and the current disease situation in Egypt to ensure you get the best possible protection.
To make your journey as safe and worry-free as possible, it's important to prepare in advance. Here you'll find our tips on vaccinations, travel health advice, disease prevention, and other practical information.
Get vaccinated in time
For full protection, it's important to start your vaccinations well in advance - ideally at least one month before departure. Some vaccines require multiple doses, while others need time to take effect. Have you booked a last-minute trip or forgotten your vaccinations? Come in as soon as possible - we'll always do our best to give you the best possible protection based on your situation.

About Egypt
Egypt is located in North Africa and is known for its historical treasures such as the pyramids, the Valley of the Kings, and the temples along the Nile. The country also offers popular Red Sea resorts with world-class snorkeling and diving. With its warm climate and large number of visitors, Egypt is one of the most visited destinations in Africa. At the same time, it's important to take care of your health, as the risk of gastrointestinal infections is higher than at home. Proper vaccinations and good hand hygiene are essential parts of your travel preparations.
